Michigan J. Frog the is an animated cartoon character from 1955 sings the timeless catchy classic song, “Hello My Baby!.”

Michigan J. Frog is an animated cartoon character who debuted in the Merrie Melodies cartoon One Froggy Evening on December 31, 1955, partly inspired by a 1944 Cary Grant film entitled Once Upon a Time,

Fashionably dressed in a top hat, and sporting a c cane he sings catchy ragtime, songs, dances, and performs acrobatics. while dancing and performing acrobatics in circus style.

“He was also a former mascot of The WB Television Network from that year until 2005, and after The Night of Favourites and Farewells, he was shown as the final image of a white silhouette bowing down to viewers, bringing up The CW Television Network.” Wikipedia

Travel back through television time with this classic Disney cartoon from 1935. Silly Symphony “Music Land”.

Silly Symphony is a series of 75 animated short films produced by Walt Disney Productions from 1929 to 1939.  It is not a continuing story plot, instead, new characters are introduced in each short film. There is no dialogue but each episode is scored with whimsical classical & instrumental music.

The series introduced the world to the multi-plane motion picture camera, technicolor, and Donald Duck, as he made his debut appearance in the series

In this episode, the princess violin from the sleepy Land of Symphony is chased by an alto saxophone from the Isle of Jazz. This episode is said to have been inspired by Shakespeare’s play “Romeo and Juliet”.

Have you seen the magical, timeless Disney masterpiece scored to classical music? Fantasia is a must-see Disney masterpiece released in 1940.

The award-winning film is unique in itself, consisting of two separate animated films, as well as an educational demonstration of live orchestra instruments using visualizations.

Interestingly, for this film Fantasia, the animation was created first. Followed by scoring the second half with classical music to fit the film.

 The first film is a whimsical and enchanting montage of scenes that will delight all ages. It is scored to the famous classical piece “Dance Of The Sugarplum Fairies.”
The animation was drawn to match the music.

The second film has a curious Mickey Mouse playing the stern Sorcerer’s apprentice, and mayhem ensues.

This old-school Walt Disney animation from the Silly Symphony series tells the classic fable of The Tortoise & The Hare.

Silly Symphony is a series of 75 animated short films produced by Walt Disney Productions from 1929 to 1939. As their name implies, the Silly Symphonies were originally intended as whimsical accompaniments to pieces of music. As such, the films usually had independent continuity and did not feature continuing characters.

The Tortoise meanwhile kept going slowly but steadily, and, after a time, passed the place where the Hare was sleeping…
