Ellen DeGeneres often simply known as “Ellen” is a compassionate comedian turned actress, then daytime talk show host that has made millions laugh over her successful career, due in part to her big break on the legendary Johnny Carson Show. On top of being a comedian, television host, actress, writer, producer, and LGBT activist, DeGeneres launched the eleveneleven record label designed to promote talented musical acts that may otherwise be overlooked by larger labels. She also started her own production company, A Very Good Production and launched the brand, ED Ellen DeGeneres, She has won 30 Emmys, 20 People’s Choice Awards (more than any other person, and numerous other awards for her work and charitable efforts.
