Van Gogh Marbling Artwork

This is a mesmerizing marbling art video by Garip Ay. He creates an interpretation of Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ painting using the paper marbling technique—or more specifically the Turkish method called ebru. The artwork is beautiful and the method is fascinating.

Marbling involves the careful process of floating colours on the surface of water or a slightly more viscous solution called size, before transferring the design or pattern to a special sheet of paper in a dramatic finish!
